: HEy, I posted a message earlier but I guess it did not get put up. I have a couple questions on Aenied book 2 and need some help. Sorry this is last minute but I need the answers to some of theses questions by tomorrow. Answer as many as you can. Thanks a bunch.
: Question#1
: What is 2 internal conflicts and what are the outcomes?
: Question#2 What weakness does Virgil reveal in his epic hero?
: Question #3
: What strengths make Aneas a leader?
: Question #4
: What are 2 epic similies?
: Question# 5 how does candra, hebuca, venus, and Creusa play an important role in the poem?
Alright. I have the exact same book as you with the same questions. Im not sure about some of them cause im stuck too. But for just a little help, some strengths that make Aeneas a good leader include his compion for the suffering of others, his sympathy to the weary and tired men during his journey, and his ability to make great speeches to raise the men's spirits.
Some weaknesses Virgil reaveals are the fact that sometimes Aeneas's emotions make him think unclearly and act errationally, plus, unlike other heroes of the time such as Hercules, Achilles and such, Aeneas is a mear human, with all the flaws of a human.
Thats all i got. Hope it helps
