I have found several sites containing a poem by Edwin Muir titled "The Horses", but it is not the poem I reviewed with my student. Does anyone know of an earler version of this poem, which has an AA BB rhyme scheme, is about 16 lines (if I remember correctly), and does not include any military references. It is about a man basically lamenting the loss of his childhood through the use of horse imagery. I would appreciate help, a webpage, or even for someone to email me the poem. I would rather obtain it myself than have to ask the student to fax it. Thank you
