the poetic device used is apostrophe,an absent person, place or thing is addressed as it were actually their(alive & present)He is adresseing this sonnet to a loved one (stella) Who is probley dead, he talks about "Take thou of me smooth pillows, sweetest bed.A chamber deaf to noise & blind to light, A rosy garland & a weary head:"This mostlikly is discribing a tomb ( coffin)Well thats bout all I know.
