I have an essay due on Monday concerning the Defense of Poesie by Sir Philip Sidney. I am suppose to support Sidney's argument for the superiority of poetry over other potential objects for study (history, philosophy, the 'serving sciences'). PLEASE HELP, I am stuck in a rutt!!!!!!!! I am having troubles completely understanding his argument.
