I studied it in school its the first 8 lines are about how he doesn't want Anne Goodier ( his love which is also his bosses' daughter)in his life and there is nothing that can really save it. The next 4 lines are about personifying Love on its dying bed and about how Pion is speechless and Faith kneels by the bed and Innocence closes Love's eyes before he is nearly dead. Then the last two lines take an unexpected change and say that he really does want her back and that it is Anne's choice to bring life back into the relationship because he wants her to
