I need help finding out who is the author of two poems. Their names, as far as I remember, are "Green River" and "A Winter's Song." I know they were written by the same author because in college I read them from the same book of poetry.
The last line of "A Winter's Song" is, "into the woods to hunt the deer." It is a short poem of only two stanzas. "Green River" is several pages long and describes a particular river and its surrounding scenery as it flows.
I thought the author might be Wordsworth or Longfellow, but have been unable to find them in their works. Any information you have that might help me would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim
